Coming soon the TLCCancer.Co LLC collective will introduce an online directory which is a curated treasured library collection of cancer resources developed and maintained with tender loving care to assist, empower, and support people across America as they navigate cancer with their healthcare teams.

"There are moments in life — whether sparked by serious illness, sudden accidents, cancer diagnoses, or terminal conditions — when people begin reflecting deeply on their experiences, triumphs, regrets, and everything in between. These reflections often shift the way we view our possessions. We start to see our belongings not only for their present-day value but for the stories they will carry forward. Intentional or not, we all leave behind pieces of ourselves that others will remember us by. These memories, these mementos, are our legacy....."
"Legacy work" is the intentional act of creating something meaningful for the people we love. It is about connection, storytelling, and sharing precious moments while we are still here. Legacy work creates space for open, honest conversations — allowing people to say "I love you," "I'm sorry," or "Thank you" before it's too late (Timóteo et al., 2024).
Without a clear plan, even the most beautiful gifts can trigger toxic family arguments or accidental legal traps. Safely leaving a gold legacy requires emotional storytelling, accurate valuation, and precise legal planning. When done intentionally, distributing gold jewelry becomes a powerful vehicle for meaning-making, helping families process anticipated grief and strengthening bonds...."
I took a brief pause a few months before my mother's birthday in August to put together something for my mother which she would appreciate, and to share the memories of her with my long-awaited child whom she never got to meet. Hence, the website PureGoldJewels.Com and the article "Legacy of Love, Written in Gold: Passing Down Treasured Gold Jewelry Pieces and Heirloom" were created and written in loving honor of my mother, who passed away on March 5, 2025. The memories about her of a life filled with joy, love, kindness, sincerity and compassion, of facing her latter years of challenging health concerns with boldness, and the discovering of her wishes to pass along the few fine pieces of gold she cherished, pieces embedded with stories of heritage, kinship, and endurance, are all a part of my beloved mother's amazing legacy which will always remain close to my heart, in that special space held for love between mothers and daughters, and now for a daughter of my own.
"Legacy work has no rules, restrictions, or eligibility criteria. It offers a way to reclaim agency during times when life feels uncertain. Choosing what to pass down creates meaning, connection, and peace. The legacy of passing down treasured gold pieces is one we and our loved ones can enjoy while it appreciates in value.
Seemingly ordinary events become stories that carry wisdom and love. This reflection process often provides fulfillment and emotional healing (Smith, 2023)."
